Still in business?
I was super excited for my visit here because I’d heard the Lechon was good from locals. However I ordered red horse beer and it was water. Apparently the bar staff had “accidentally” added filtered(questionable) water to a used beer bottle and served it. This makes me question the cleanliness and safety of all the food that is served at this establishment. When we approached the manager about this she did briefly apologize for the mistake, but it still makes me very sketched out.
MoreGreat restaurant with authentic food for a good price. Really enjoyed a variety of dishes on the menu. Are here twice as the good in our hotel restaurant ( hotel Elizabeth) was not so good.
MoreI choose this place because it was near to my hotel. Nice ambiance. The foods are at affordable price. I ordered 3 dishes; 1/4 kg Special Carcar Lechon, Oysters Sisig & Baked Scallops. Actually i came for the Lechon and as expected, it was amazingly delicious. Same goes for the 2 dishes too.
MoreThe best lechon I ever tasted!!! Easy to locate. Transportation is accessible. Crews are courteous. They have various choices of delicacies.
MoreI love all their foods. Tastes exactly like I expected. :) My favorite dish "Shrimp gambas was so good. Thanks
MoreIt would have been perfect, only they were out of lechon when we arrived! The lechon sisig was magnificently peppery, though.
MoreBright, lovely place for group dining. Feast on local favorites. Cebu lechon comes in regular and spicy flavors.
MoreMy favorite restaurant in Cebu, year after year. The Lechon is fantastic and the setting pleasant, clean, modern, chic...
MoreIt has available parking spaces, lots of food choices and a great ambiance. The food is good and their lechon is a must-try. You can also celebrate big events here like birthdays and other gatherings because they have function rooms large enough to accommodate large groups. Service is efficient.
MoreAlways great. Best Spicy Lechon
One of the best spicy lechon in Cebu. We went here twice. 😂 Their squid balls is really delicious. 😍
MoreLove the taste of their spicy lechon, baked scallops, and love their brewed coffee. One of their staff is also asking if we are satisfied or if there's anything we need which is satisfying for me and they are focused on customer satisfaction which is nice
MoreMy compliments to the chef for allowing me to have a really sumptous lunch. Their lechon Carcar Special didn't fail to mesmerize my taste buds - it really is a must try!
MoreWent 3 times. Amazing everytime
We were very excited to eat here, unfortunately it was bad. We ordered 1 kg. Of lechon and it was all bones and old cuts covers by fresh ones. The service was bad too. Our waitress, was ready to slap us, she was in such a bad mood. Not worse trying
MoreMy first lechon from a restaurant so don't have anything to compare it against but as far as pork goes it tasted good to me! Was cold, don't know if that's a thing? Didn't bother me! Skin was crispy, a lot of fat but comes with the territory of skin-on pork! That liquid it came with was salty, in a nice way, and went well over the rice. Pork-on-a-stick was tasty and warm. Small rice for 55php was enough for one man. Complimentary glass of water but maybe that's because I didn't order a drink? Either way it was welcome!
MoreGood option to try Lechon and other Filipino food in a comfortable restaurant setting. Everything we tried was tasty. The place seems to be popular for local family gatherings.
Moretip! choose the original lechon and create your own spicy sauce rather than ordering the spicy lechon.
Morethe food was great, the place is very clean.
The food was great and I had enough leftovers to last me 3 days. I plan to go back again soon.
MoreMundane roast pork. Asked if skin was crispy and was told yes. Skin was not crisp. How can these guys be experts at this yet I can cook far better at home? Way over rated restaurant.
MoreExcellent food, service and atmosphere.
Very unsatisfied. Lechon was served cold, colder than room terperature. Probably refrigerated from day before. When asking the waiter about it, he doesn't seem to care.Definetly over priced for the quality of food!!!
MoreThe lechon was not as I expected it would taste. It was salty to my taste, dry and the skin was not crispy at all. Other food we ordered tastes ordinary. I think eating in turo-turo would be much better. The price compared to its taste is horrendous!!! Given a choice, I will not come back.
MoreThe food was very good. The service is a little slow and one must remember this is not an American restaurant and the lechon has bones some small to look out for. The was very tasty.
MoreFood and pricing here is great. Lechon so good that you just keep coming back for more. I suggest that you don't go their during peak hours because sometimes the food takes awhile but it's all worth it. The place is great for family gatherings.
Moresumptuous dishes. so fresh. had a lovely lunch with my family
Ordered the meat platter just so I can try a little of everything. It is good but not as legendary as people say it is. The owner should do a tasting with all their chefs because everything tasted like they were taking short cuts. Food came out quickly but wasn't hot and even the garlic rice tasted like fried WHITE rice. Service, juice and smoothies were on point. To be honest, my budget hotel food was just as good at a fraction of the price compared to this. Go once just to say you did... or not.
MoreLechon was super flavorful and soft and yummy! Definitely one of the best I've tried so far in Cebu! We tried the Spicy lechon but it was not as spicy as we hoped it would be. But definitely still really good. Their kangkong was also really tasty.
MoreI love all the foods but my favorite is Lechon! Absolutely will visit this restaurant again as foods are taste good that suit the budget price. Love giving a private tip to the server.
MoreDelicious food. Good service. Calm ambiance.
At a luncheon, the Lechon was OK, but I prefer the thicker skin of Batangas. A varied menu with some food very nice to my taste. e.g the crabmeat soup, but others dishes were ordinary. Service poor, one dish delivered when the meal was at an end. Slightly expensive for quite ordinary food. Probably get better service on a weekday as the restaurant was very busy when we visited on a sunday.
MoreHouse of Lechon is the best! Awesome place to eat with friends; friendly servers and staff-- they even sing a birthday song for birthday celebrants!
MoreNice place, with good Lechon. I had the scallops, cheese sticks and the chicken skin. Everything is really good. It was kind of a large area and loud music and noise. Not a cosy classy place. In total it was a nice experience
MoreThe skin of the pork is crackling crispy. Love it.
The price is acceptable but the sauce is fxxking salty.
Good roast pork. Call ahead to make sure they have it ready/isn't sold out. Get the oyster sisig and chicken skin!
MoreThe waiters are nice and try their best to give you a nice experience. We came for the fish and ate only fish, I know it’s a potty because of léchons, but the fish was super good, what a nice ceviche we had. We also tried the mango Oreo float, just amazing and the mango sticky rice coming with a special coconut caramel I reckon.
MoreI always enjoy local traditional food on the trip. So i challenged with Lechon. But the foods were so disappointed. It was salty and there was bad smell in Lechon. Only mango juice was delicious.one more thing. The staff move as they were busy, but it's not. It takes a very long time to take orders or serve food.
MoreWe're there last night and we have the worst experience of service.Food arrived first before the cutlery, water, napkins... they provide us later but not enough, again we have to asked.I never saw a Supervisor nor Manager to see if everything was okay.We asked a certain sauce but the server seems to forgot or too busy, so we've to asked again.Servers cleared soiled table rather than attending their customers needs.By the way, we were at Don Avila Street Branch.I hope this review will help them improve their services, not to discourage other potential customers.
MoreVery good service and great tasting food.
I love the ambiance! Super recommended. The food was great. Lechon was very crispy and delicious. ❤️
MoreLechon was superb. juicy, flavorful and soft. all the other dishes were basic, and either an okay or miss. staff was attentive and helpful. wait for food wasn't long. Would visit again.
MoreLechon was cooked properly. Meat was soft, tender and delicious. Service was quick and courteous. Will definitely return again in the future.
MoreLechon was so tasty. Other food were also delicious and reasonably priced. Nice ambiance and very lively crew.
MoreI ordered the 1/8 kg of lechon and it was the best I've ever tasted! Hands down, without a doubt! The meat was so delicious, juicy and tender. The skin was crunchy too! I'll definitely be returning! Also, don't pay with "OLD" bills. Because they won't accept it! I guess one of them I gave her was wrinkled...odd but okay.
MoreOverrated, that's all there is to is. No wonder most locals don't recommend these place. My order took 30min to came, surprisingly others who came after me had their order serve early. Lechon is salty as my tears after the meal and the dipping sauce is no better. I order 1/2 lechon,....1/4 of it are bones!! The skin is not crispy also.
MoreIt's a good place for Filipino food, lechon is ok but skin could be more crispy. It's good to book for a table ahead of time as the place can get quite busy. Waiting staff were great, they sang a happy birthday for my husband whilst we were there and did so with gusto.
MoreBest lechon tried so far. Prefer the original flavor over the spicy version. Sisig was flavourful as well.
MoreGreat local food. Prepared staff and excellent organization. Only note the background music is too high.
